This Privacy Policy describes how SportsCard Scanner Pro (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application (the “App”) and related website at www.sportscardscannerpro.app (the “Site”). By using the App or Site, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we process
Images you capture or choose. To identify sports cards, the App may process photos you take with the camera or select from your photo library. Processing occurs primarily on your device (for example, text recognition). We do not operate our own cloud backup of your card photos unless we explicitly describe such a feature in the App.
Search and card data. When you search or look up a card, the App may send queries and identifiers to third-party data providers (see below) to return product details and pricing information.
Usage and device data. Apple may provide us aggregated or diagnostic information through App Store Connect. If we use optional analytics or crash reporting in a future update, we will describe it here and, where required, seek your consent.
Purchases. Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple may share limited transaction information with us according to Apple’s policies.
Local storage. Information you save in the App (such as collection entries) may be stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage mechanisms (for example, Core Data). Deleting the App may erase this local data unless you use any future backup or sync feature we describe in the App.
2. Third-party services
The App may rely on third parties to provide features, including but not limited to:
- SportsCardsPro (or similar card database APIs) for product search and details.
- eBay APIs for marketplace listings, images, or related pricing context where enabled in the App.
- Apple (App Store, StoreKit, Sign in with Apple if used, and system frameworks).
These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their terms on their official sites.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the App and Site, provide card identification and pricing features, process purchases, respond to support requests, comply with law, and protect our rights and users.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who assist us (for example, hosting for the Site), when required by law, or to protect safety and security.
5. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
6. Your choices
- You can limit camera or photo access in your device Settings.
- You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

7. International users
If you use the App outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
